Enclosed Outdoor Space

This post looks at an open space at the side of a house. Usually used just as a walk way - a side entrance to a rear garden. When it was suggested that it could be enclosed and turned into an outdoor room, this owner jumped at it. Treated timbers were placed from the house to the side wall and then simply roofed in corrugated perspex. It has now turned into a multi purpose space. The bikes are housed on a series of hooks on the wall and it also acts as an outdoor gym for the owners. Some very practical rattan furniture makes this space perfect for small gatherings of family and friends.
