About David
David Coleman Harte is an Irish born artist living in the west coast, working mostly with oil paint on canvas.
On completing a BSc in Engineering, David studied an MA Fine Art in the Queen's University of London in 2012. Following this he worked in his studio in New Cross for a number of years whilst learning forms of figurative and abstract painting with oils.
David returned to Ireland late 2017 after a time studying osteopathy in London and has since worked on commissions of oil paintings in a small studio space in Co. Sligo.
David is now collaborating with local galleries displaying works of large scale and for future works creating large abstract figurative forms on unstretched canvasses.
Recent exhibitions include M. David & Co of Brooklyn NYC USA and Hambly & Hambly of Enniskillen Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
